I’m a true believer in the power of teams but what gets me most excited is feeling like I can get on with my business objectives and I have a whole team of people supporting me. Say one of my goals is to rationalize the number of suppliers we have and drive cost down: I get help from the team that reports to me and my C-Suite colleagues, right up to the CEO . The company is also very hot on helping us to achieve personal professional targets.
Everyone works collaboratively so in one project to develop a new suite of AI Threat Detection products, we have had people all round the business contributing and its been great to meet colleagues from different backgrounds and perspectives.
We need to buy in some world leading talent and, even though in most other companies my role is seen as only producing real-world solutions from blue skies ideas, here I really feel I can contribute in other interrelated parts of the business.
A great place for graduate new entry. Exciting projects and opportunities and some world-class IT security training.
The job has been about what I expected. Starting salaries could be a a bit higher there are annual bonuses. Food in the cafe is pretty good – especially Taco Tuesdays
Any workplace is only as good as the people you work with. Some people could do with butting out of private stuff – Just saying…
Any company is only as good as the people you work with… or for. My line-manager is firm but fair. I like the relaxed dress code too.
It’s not too bad. At least I can see out the window from my cubicle. I didn’t think I was ready for the job after my induction training but the training continued over the years and that helped.

I don’t know who is calling the shots, but as far as I’m concerned, my job is to
go back to the old way of doing things. The drive to integration needs to be resisted
. I feel like I’m the only one
concentrating on cost cutting at the expense of R & D spending
. If anyone ever bothered to ask me (and I’ve been doing this job for years), we could then avoid
the potential loss of my job after being acquired by Cyberasurety. Companies that have been taken over are having the best and brightest talent moved to work directly for Cyberasurety, making us less viable.
! I mean, seriously, what do I have to do to get someone to listen?
