Funny – I work at a “World-Leading” business that can’t pay a decent salary…
Everything is so expensive nowadays, especially rent. I don’t know how a bank can justify paying such low salaries compared to competitors. Opportunities for regular raises or bonus schemes non-existent.
Different Company, Same Old Boss
It’s like working anywhere – it’s only as good as your boss. Not to name names but I have a “superior” who is always double-checking all my work and making me do stuff again. They also seem to have a clique of “followers” who get away with never putting in the work
Too much
Sometimes things just pile up – I don’t know if its a lack of staff or the company taking on too many acquisitions but you hardly get a moment to breathe
Alright, but…
I worked at the company for five years but just had to get out. It’s not the worst of companies, but it has a lot to do to be the best experience for staff. The uniform is awful, and we can only get 1 shirt per year. I didn’t think I was ready to start my role after such a short (1 week) training course and I was very nervous for almost a year as a result.
