Grenomic is a great place to be working. The company is sponsoring me to take a course in Managing Financial Teams. I only had to point out some recent challenges managing a mainly great Finance team. No matter how often I tell one rogue colleague that we need to balance growth with prudent financial control, they want to shut down all spending. The business approved the course plus travel expenses because they realized it was important both to the company and me.

Pretty decent people. If you are operational, there are loads of opportunities advertised internally. The company seems to be going places but the leadership doesn’t seem to be able to lead the business effectively. They need to improve the talent pool if they are going to make it to the next level. I think the pay and benefits are decent.

I’ve been at Grenomic for seven years and I’ve enjoyed my time. There are opportunities in the off-shore wind market and Grenomic is a fair employer.

Very supportive and encouraging work environment; lots of great role models who invest time in developing others; still learning new things all the time despite working for the company for four years and remain challenged and engaged in my role.

Great people, shame about the leadership. So much opportunity that they are missing.

In the IT department, we’re constantly playing catch-up with the company’s growth. There seems to be a disconnect between the administrative decisions and the realities of our tech needs, resulting in frequent system outages and disgruntled staff.

Interesting environment, with great people to work with but the employees need more support and a better work-life balance.
